How to get to Laton's Lodge
Float plane from Seattle:
Probably the quickest way to get to the lodge is to fly into our dock from Seattle. (Estimated cost from Seattle $485.00 each way) Kenmore Air out of Seattle ( SEATAC/ Lake Washington) is a Airlines that flies into Laton's Lodge, here is the link: www.kenmoreair.com If the reservations clerk tells you they don’t fly there, ask to speak to a supervisor, they do land here. Many of the other local resorts in our immediate area use this airline.
Fly directly: The closest airport is Port Hardy Regional, the only airline that lands here is Pacific Coastal, you can connect with this airline in Vancouver. Therefore, International Flights will land at the Main Airport in Vancouver, you will have to taxi or use the free shuttle to the South Terminal (10- 15 minutes away)

Prices vary depending on the season, roughly $150 - $300 each way, and it takes just under an hour. This will have you land in Port Hardy, which is about an hour north of Telegraph Cove, we will then have to come and pick you up, prior arrangements with us must be made on timing and connecting.
Driving directions: From Seattle, WA. (Estimated time 8-10 hours)
Take Interstate 5 North. Crossing the US/Canadian Border at Blain WA. (Allow about 30 minutes to an hour to clear Customs)
Continue North on Interstate 5.
Exit at Kilometer marker 20 or 28 (west) follow signs to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal.
There are approx. 4 destinations from the ferry terminal.
Use the Duke Point Nanaimo destination, be sure to get in the correct lane.
Ferry sails about every 2 hours, crossing time is approx. 2.5 hours.

Exit the ferry, follow the road out to HWY 19 get in the right lane (Approx. 4 to 5 miles)
Go North toward Campbell River, continue North on HWY 19 to Port McNeill (Approx 4.5 hours)
NOTE: Approx. 10 Kilometers before reaching Port McNeill you will see a sign to Telegraph Cove this is your final destination. Telegraph cove is approx. 17 kilometers off HWY 19.
When you are ready to come to Swanson Island, go to Telegraph Cove, we will pick you up at the North Island Kayak loading area, please ask at North Island where to park and where loading will take place (we are 20 minutes away by boat)
Lodge cell number: 250-949-1922 we can be difficult to reach, service is not 100% in all locations at the Lodge and with the many projects going on and fishing, we are busy. Try anytime, but before 0800 or between 1700 and 1900 is more probable.
